Filipino and American soldiers participating in the annual joint military training exercise Talon Vision 2008 will provide free health services and conduct engineering projects in various locations of the southern Luzon province of Laguna. A combined team of about 200 soldiers, Marines, sailors and construction personnel from the armed forces of the Philippines and the United States will participate in the community projects under the Talon Vision 2008 Humanitarian Civil Assistance Operations. The projects, aimed to promote friendship and cooperation between the Philippines and the United States, include free medical and dental treatment in selected communities, construction and repair of schools, and other community infrastructure projects.
