Los Baņos has a total land area of 5,650 hectares. It is nestled along the narrow shoreline of Laguna de Bay, the biggest lake in
the Philippines, and the northern foothills of Mt Makiling. This legendary mountain is a forest reserve and has an elevation of 1,090 meters. It dominates the whole town which is crossed by five
streams of water - Dampalit, Saran, Pili, Mulawin and Maiitim. Another body of water
Alligator Lake, is located in the northeastern part of the town. |
