The town of Los  Baņos with its 14 barangays is located 63 kilometers south of Manila in  the island of Luzon. It is bounded on the north by Laguna de Bay, on the  south and southwest by Mt. Makiling, on the southwest by the town of  Calamba on the east by the town of Bay


Los Baņos  has a total land area of 5,650 hectares. It is nestled along the narrow  shoreline of Laguna de Bay, the biggest lake in the Philippines, and the  northern foothills of Mt Makiling. This legendary mountain is a forest  reserve and has an elevation of 1,090 meters. It dominates the whole town  which is crossed by five streams of water - Dampalit, Saran, Pili, Mulawin and Maiitim. Another body of water  Alligator Lake, is located in the northeastern part of the town.


Los Baņos  is generally cold throughout year especially during the months of November  to February. Rainy during the months of July to October and relatively dry  during from January to May.
