Business

Lumban has no established industrial firms ever since. Nevertheless, it is gifted and in fact well known for its flourishing cottage industry which is engaged in handmade embroidery. Hand embroidered products include "barong tagalog", ladies’ wear, wedding gown, veil, scar, shoulder and hand bags, Maria Clara gowns and home accessories like curtains, table cloths, table napkins, bedsheets, hankies and other products which are all made from jusi, "piña" cloth and chiffonille thread.

Other products include the famous "Kesong Puti" (cottage cheese), espasol and other native delicacies. These products have already reached the international market many years back.
