 Greetings.
The
Environmental Forestry Programme (ENFOR)
wish to welcome you all to our website. We hope that you will learn
more about ENFOR after browsing through these pages. Primarily we
engage in research and development projects pertaining to global
change particularly land use and land use cover change, extreme
climate events and climate variability and its impacts on forest
ecosystems, water, biodiversity and socioeconomic conditions of
local communities, and in integrated watershed management and
development. Most of our projects are interdisciplinary and
collaborative in nature. Our emphasis is on projects
that promote interagency cooperation, multisectoral involvement and
participation of the stakeholders. Our programme has the capacity to
provide technical services to development projects such as in the
preparation of comprehensive integrated area development plans for
local government units, government agencies and private
corporations. We don’t have yet a regular publication for our
research outputs but we do have several occasional publications
and materials published in several local and international journals.
Behind the Programme is a battery of competent professional staff
of diverse backgrounds and trainings that have jointly committed to
the pursuit of endeavors to promote sustainability of natural
resources, environment and development.
In
launching our website, we open our doors so we can share our humble
accomplishments with you and hopefully create fresh opportunities
for collaborative works between you and our programme. If you have
